๐Ÿ“œ VaultSafe โ€“ Terms of Service Effective Date: 2025-07-01 By using VaultSafe (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

  1. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ Account Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

  1. ๐Ÿ“ Use of VaultSafe VaultSafe is a privacy-first SaaS tool that helps you manage personal files and interact with them via AI agents.

You agree not to:

Upload or share illegal, offensive, or copyrighted content.

Use the platform for malicious purposes (spamming, scraping, attacking systems, etc.).

  1. โš™๏ธ Usage Tiers & Billing VaultSafe offers three usage tiers:

  2. Freemium (Strict Limits) Limited data uploads and basic AI access

Strict computational quotas

No carry-forward or burst access

  1. Pro (Scalable Tier) Higher limits and priority access

Top-up required if usage exceeds quota

Fair usage applies (see below)

  1. Super (Heavy Users) Designed for high-volume professionals

Generous limits and customizable usage

Usage monitored under Fair Usage Policy

โš ๏ธ Billing is based on actual usage. You may need to upgrade or top-up if you exceed your current tier’s limits.

  1. ๐Ÿ“Š Fair Usage Policy To ensure fair and stable service for all users:

You agree not to use more resources than allowed by your plan.

VaultSafe may monitor usage patterns to detect abuse or unfair resource consumption.

If your usage impacts system health or exceeds reasonable thresholds:

We may throttle, limit, or temporarily suspend access.

In cases of sustained abuse, we reserve the right to terminate the account.

  1. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Data Rights & Ownership You own your data. VaultSafe does not claim ownership of content you upload.

We only process data to deliver services like file management, search, and AI-based support.

You are responsible for ensuring the legality of content you upload.

  1. ๐Ÿ” Privacy & EU (GDPR) Compliance VaultSafe is GDPR-aligned for users in the EU:

We collect only necessary data for authentication and service delivery.

You have the right to access, delete, or request a copy of your data at any time.

Data is hosted securely on AWS, encrypted both at rest and in transit.

No data is stored on local devices. Internal teams have zero access to user content.

  1. ๐Ÿ”ง Modifications & Updates We may update the Service, pricing, or these Terms at any time with notice.

Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.

  1. โŒ Account Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account:

If your usage breaches our fair usage policy or impacts service stability

  1. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Refund and Cancellation Policy Payments for VaultSafe subscriptions are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. Our refund and cancellation policy is aligned with Paddle’s Invoiced Consumer Terms and Conditions.

Refund window: You may request a refund within 30 days of the date of purchase. Refunds are processed in accordance with Paddle’s refund policy. Reimbursement, when applicable, will be made using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges will be made after that. There are no refunds for unused portions of a subscription period once the period has started.

Example: If your billing cycle is from July 10th to August 9th, you can cancel anytime before August 9th. Your plan will remain active until August 9th and will not renew. If you resume later, your new billing cycle starts from the date you re-subscribe.

  1. ๐Ÿšš Shipping and Delivery Policy VaultSafe is a digital platform. We do not ship or deliver any hard copies, physical documents, or KYC materials.

All key reminders and communications are handled electronically via the email address or phone number you provide, or through the VaultSafe portal.

  1. โš–๏ธ Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with these laws.
